Description

Spanish 1B is a continuation of the introduction to Spanish language and culture students experienced in Spanish 1A. Regional differences in customs and pronunciation are highlighted when presenting grammar and vocabulary in context. Knowing Spanish will enable students to connect with a wider range of people in their daily lives. In this course, students learn how to express preferences when shopping, describe a house and its contents, share household chores, and talk about their favorite leisure activities. Spanish 1B is comprised of six units, or five lessons each, with many opportunities to practice the Spanish language in online class discussions with students and teachers alike.
